About the Cane Corso
Cane Corsos originated in southern Italy as powerful working dogs, used for hunting large game and guarding estates. Descended from ancient Roman mastiffs, they represent one of the oldest Mediterranean dog breeds. These massive, muscular dogs combine intimidating appearance with surprising gentleness toward their families.

Cane Corsos are confident, dignified, and deeply loyal to their families with strong protective instincts. They're intelligent and responsive but require experienced, firm handlers and early extensive socialization.
