About the Dobermann
Dobermann Pinschers were developed in Germany in the 1890s by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, who bred them as protection dogs and personal companions. Created from Pinschers, Rottweilers, and possibly Greyhounds, they combine intelligence and athleticism with loyalty and protectiveness. They represent the pinnacle of the protection dog concept.
