About the Golden Retriever
Golden Retrievers were developed in Scotland in the late 1800s to retrieve game from water and land during hunts. Created by crossing yellow Retrievers, Tweed Spaniels, and Irish Setters, they combine soft mouths with athletic ability. Their gentle nature and trainability made them beloved family companions and service dogs.
Temperament
Goldens are devoted, friendly, and incredibly affectionate dogs who love everyone they meet. They're eager to please, making them highly trainable and excellent with children and other pets.
